1. What we provide
Oak & Main designs, hand-codes, hosts, and maintains websites for local businesses on a monthly subscription. Specific inclusions depend on your chosen plan (Starter, Growth, or Elite).
2. The free mockup
We will build a custom homepage mockup at no charge and with no obligation. We retain ownership of any mockup not taken to a paid plan.
3. Fees & billing
- A one-time $249 build deposit is due to begin your build and is credited to your first two months of service (or waived with annual prepayment).
- Monthly plans are billed in advance each month. Annual plans are billed yearly and include two months free.
- New pages, redesigns, and integrations outside your plan’s edit scope are quoted and billed separately.
4. Edits & support scope
“Done-for-you edits” covers reasonable content changes — text, images, hours, contact details, and offers — within the turnaround stated for your plan. Structural redesigns, additional pages, and custom development are separate engagements.
5. Ownership
- You own your domain, your content, and any leads or data collected through your site — at all times.
- We own the underlying code, templates, and design system, licensed to you for as long as your subscription is active.
- On cancellation you keep your domain, content, and data. You may purchase a one-time static export of your live site for a buyout fee.
6. Hosting, security & uptime
Sites are hosted on Cloudflare’s global network with automatic SSL and DDoS protection. We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for outages of third-party infrastructure outside our control.
7. Cancellation
Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time and will remain active through the paid period. On cancellation your hosted site is taken offline unless you purchase a static export (see Ownership).
8. Limitation of liability
Our services are provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding three months. We make no guarantee of specific search rankings, traffic, or revenue outcomes.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Oak & Main is established (to be specified upon entity formation).
